Palak Soup | Indian Spinach Soup

Palak soup also known as spinach soup is a healthy soup recipe made spinach, tomato, and spices. I have added garlic in this recipe. If you donโ€™t like garlic, you can ignore it in this recipe. Easy spinach soup Indian style is a nutritious soup recipe. Best part is that it gets ready in under 30 minutes. This is a simple vegan spinach soup recipe. Palak Soup or spinach soup

Spinach is known as palak in India. Easy palak soup recipe is a very healthy way to consume palak or spinach leaves. There are numerous health benefits of consuming spinach. It is a rich source of dietary fibre, copper, protein, phosphorus, zinc, and vitamin E. In addition, it also has Omega-3 fatty acids, niacin, and selenium.

How to make spinach soup?

  • Boil all the ingredients together, that is spinach, tomato, and spices.
  • Let it cool down.
  • After cooling, grind them in a mixer or blender. Strain it through a strainer so that you will get clear soup.
  • Discard the pulp.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Serve hot.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Palak/Spinach chopped
  • 1 to mato chopped
  • 2 garlic flakes
  • 2 black peppercorns
  • 1/2- inch cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • Boil all the ingredients together, that is spinach, tomato, and spices.
  • Let it cool down.
  • After cooling, grind them in a mixer or blender. Strain it through a strainer so that you will get clear soup.
  • Discard the pulp.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

You can garnish the soup with butter and toasted bread.

    hey u dont have to strain the soup, just remove the skin of the tomatoes before blending.. thats it…….. good blog… keep it up
