Spinach Omelette or palak omelet is a healthy and nutritious recipe. A bunch of chopped spinach leaves, spring onion stems and whole eggs are whipped up to make this omelette. This is then spread on a frying pan and cooked completely. The recipe is easy to cook and it takes just 15 minutes. You just need a big frying pan.

Spinach omelette benefits:

This spinach omelette no cheese recipe is rich in anti-oxidants and eggs have proteins. This is ideal for kids who donโ€™t eat spinach. If the spinach is added in omelet, they will end up eating nutritious stuff. You can also make different types of egg recipes and serve to your kids and family members.

Let us see the ingredients to make this no cheese spinach omelette recipe:

  • Eggs: I have used 2 medium sized chicken eggs to make this omelette.
  • Spinach: A bunch of fresh spinach is used to make this recipe. The bunch I used had roughly around 20 leaves. After chopping the leaves, it would measure to around 1 cup.
  • Green onion: Green onionย  also known as spring onion has been used in the recipe. I have excluded the greens and only used the onion in this recipe.
  • Turmeric powder: Also known as curry powder is used to make this egg recipe spicy. Also turmeric powder removes the egg smell after cooking. Some people donโ€™t like the egg smell in omelettes and hence addition of turmeric powder helps.
  • Red chili powder: You can use paprika if red chili powder is not available. You can increase the spice levels as per your taste.
  • Milk: I have added 2 tablespoon cowโ€™s milk in the recipe. Addition of milk in omelette makes the omelette fluffy.
  • Oil: Oil is used for greasing the frying pan. I have used olive oil in this recipe. Sunflower oil can also be used.
