Skillet Chicken Legs Indian Style

Marination is an important step in cooking any type of meat. I have marinated chicken in this skillet chicken recipe with yogurt/curds, turmeric powder or curry powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt. Keep the marinated chicken in refrigerator for 2 hours.

To cook the skillet chicken legs in Indian style, make a paste from 1 bunch of coriander leaves, ginger, garlic and green chili by adding in a mixer. Then onions, tomatoes, capsicum are sautรฉed on the skillet. Add spices and sauces and mixed well. Finally, add marinated chicken legs to the skillet along with any extra marinade that remains. Cook this on low flame by covering the skillet and stirring occasionally. This is different from chicken cafreal recipe.

Skillet chicken legs Indian style is made with chicken legs and spices in a cast iron skillet.

Serve this mildly spiced skillet chicken legs made in Indian style with rotis, naan or kulchas. You can even serve it with tofu fried rice or prawns biryani. The chicken legs made in skillet can also be served as starters for any occasions like parties or get-togethers.

You can also cook the skillet chicken recipe in one pan like wok or kadai. The instructions to cook the recipe remains the same.
