1 Packet button mushrooms
1 medium sized onion
1 cup chopped spring onions
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon soya sauce
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 maggi cube
1 tsp corn flour
Wash and clean the mushrooms. Cut them into small pieces.
Chop all the vegetables. Cut the capsicum into 2 cm square pieces.
In a kadai, heat 2 tablespoon oil and fry the onions.
Once they are bit pinkish add ginger-garlic paste and mix. Add tomatoes and wait till tomatoes turn mushy.
Now add the capsicum and fry for 5-10 minutes by keeping the lid of the kadai covered.
Then add the maggi cube, pepper powder, soya and chilly sauce and mix properly.
Add the mushrooms and mix well.
Now add 1/2 cup water and keep the pan covered. Let the mushrooms get cooked for 15-20 minutes.
Add more water if required. If there is more water, add the wheat flour and stir. Switch off the gas after mushrooms are cooked.
Garnish with chopped spring onion greens.
Note: If you need gravy in the dish and it becomes watery, add 1 tablespoon corn flour to it. This makes the gravy a bit thick.
