This sweet strawberry recipe is made with simple ingredients easily available at home or in nearby grocery stores.

What are the ingredients to make this strawberry pudding dessert?

  • Strawberries: Use firm, fresh strawberries to make this strawberry dessert recipe.
  • Milk: Use any type of cow milk to make this delicious pudding recipe. You can use any high fat milk too. Do not use condensed milk. For making vegan strawberry pudding, you may try using coconut milk instead of cow milk.
  • Sugar: Sugar is added for sweetness. I have used white sugar in making this delicious cornflour pudding with strawberry.
  • Lemon juice: Add little lemon juice to enhance taste and color of the pudding.
  • Cornflour/cornstarch: Cornflour is added to make the pudding and this adds thickness and rich texture.

Other strawberry recipes to try:

  • Strawberry halwa
  • Strawberry jam
  • Strawberry cake

Health benefits of strawberries:

Summer fruit strawberry is everyoneโ€™s favorite. It can be added in yogurt, milkshakes, cakes, salads and desserts.

Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and several other antioxidants. These help to reduce the risk of several health conditions like cancer, cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Since it is a low glycemic fruit it also helps in controlling diabetes.
