Creme Chocolate caramel

Creme caramel is also known as flan or creme custard. Sugar is melted to caramel stage and then custard made with milk, eggs and sugar is poured over over it. This is then cooked in an oven or water bath. It is turned and served chilled.

I used to make the creme caramel recipe, but decided to give a twist by adding some chocolate powder to it. The chocolate cream caramel turned out delicious and my family loved every bite of it. Check out more on wiki.

Milk – I have used cow’s milk to make this recipe. I have not used condensed milk or slim milk in this recipe.

Eggs – Eggs add richness to puddings and also makes them thick. I have not added any other type of thickener to his chocolate creme caramel pudding recipe.

Chocolate powder – I have added chocolate powder. You can even add semi-sweet chocolate to the recipe by melting it.

Sugar – Sugar adds the right amount of sweetness for this chocolate dessert.

  11. Keep it in refrigerator, let it get chilled.
  12. Before serving, run a table knife around the edges of the container. Then place a plate over the container and invert it. Tap gently on the container after inverting so that the pudding comes out nicely.
