air fryer mushrooms

If you are looking for a quick and healthy recipe, this air fryer mushrooms is a must try. I used to usually cook mushrooms by pan frying, but this air fried mushroom version is so easy. It gets ready in 6 to 7 minutes. Serve them hot straight out of the air fryer basket.

What are the ingredients used for air frying mushrooms?

  • Mushroom: I have used button mushrooms in this recipe. You can also use Portobello or oyster or cremini mushrooms.
  • Sauce: I have used soy sauce in this recipe. Soy sauce that I used is low in carbs and can be used in air fryer mushrooms keto recipe.
  • Spices: Spices like garlic powder and black pepper powder are used in this low carb mushroom recipe. The quantity of spice powders can be altered as per taste.
  • Oil: Olive oil is used in this mushroom recipe. Do not use non sticky oil spray for spraying on mushrooms in air fryer. You can use olive oil spray if you wish.
  • Garnish: I have used finely chopped parsley for garnish. You can also sprinkle some lemon juice before serving.

Variations for making air fryer mushrooms keto:

I have made vegan air fryer mushrooms. You can add butter instead of olive oil for making non vegan mushroom recipe. Also, broccoli and onions can be added while air frying.

How long to air fry mushrooms?

In this recipe I set time for 6 to 7 minutes as I air fried mushroom slices at a temperature of 200C or 380 F. You can even cut mushrooms into halves or quarters depending on the size of mushrooms. If you halve or quarter mushrooms, the air frying time of mushrooms will increase accordingly. Larger air fryers will cook the mushroom faster, so set the time accordingly.

WE certainly love our mushrooms but since trying your air fryer this is like falling in love all over again. The mushrooms are so tasty and I can’t believe how easy they are to make. We DO love peppery bites so the spice was just the right amount for us.
