Marination is an important step in cooking any type of meat. I have marinated chicken in this skillet chicken recipe with yogurt/curds, turmeric powder or curry powder, ginger-garlic paste and salt. Keep the marinated chicken in refrigerator for 2 hours.

To cook the skillet chicken legs in Indian style, make a paste from 1 bunch of coriander leaves, ginger, garlic and green chili by adding in a mixer. Then onions, tomatoes, capsicum are sautéed on the skillet. Add spices and sauces and mixed well. Finally, add marinated chicken legs to the skillet along with any extra marinade that remains. Cook this on low flame by covering the skillet and stirring occasionally. This is different from chicken cafreal recipe.

You can also cook the skillet chicken recipe in one pan like wok or kadai. The instructions to cook the recipe remains the same.
