I made these crispy baked potato wedges and they were very good that I could not stop myself from blogging about this appetizer made from potato. The baked potato wedges are crispy on the outside and tender and soft inside. You have to finish them soon when they are still hot. After they cool, they lose their crispiness.

Addition of olive oil makes this potato recipe healthier. Kids love this spicy potato wedges recipe too. You can reduce the red chili flakes quantity in the recipe if your kid does not like paprika food. When your child returns home from tuition, you can keep these potato wedges ready on the dining table and I assure you that they will be over within few minutes. What are the ingredients to make these crispy baked potato wedges?

  • Potatoes: Medium sized potatoes have been used in this recipe. Use slightly round potatoes if possible so that cutting into wedged becomes easy.
  • Ginger-garlic paste: I have used store bought ginger-garlic paste. This is available in any Indian store. If you are unable to buy ginger garlic paste, just crush 1/4 inch ginger with 5 garlic pods in a mortar pestle.
  • Spices and seasoning: I have used paprika for spiciness. You can even use red chili powder. Italian seasoning and optional rosemary is also used in seasoning the recipe.
  • Oil: Olive oil is applied to the potato wedges before baking them.
