air fryer cauliflower

Air fryer cauliflower bites can be served for parties or any occasion. You can even serve this crispy air fryer cauliflower for an evening snack or even pack it in the lunch box. I love to prepare these quick air fryer vegetables during the morning rush hour and pack it as a side in my office lunch box. The same recipe can be made with broccoli too.

Here are the ingredients used in making crispy air fried cauliflower:

  • Cauliflower: Use fresh, unblemished cauliflower for making this air fryer cauliflower bites. The cauliflower should not have dark spots and the florets should be tightly packed. There should be no odor and the leaves should be fresh and green.
  • Seasoning: For seasoning mix I have used black pepper powder, paprika or red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. All these ingredients are easily available in the pantry.
  • Oil: I have used olive oil in this recipe. You may even use canola oil or avocado oil.
  • Garnish: You may use cilantro and lemon wedges.

Other air fryer recipes:

  • Air fryer potato wedges
  • Air fryer green beans
  • Air fryer shrimp
  • Air fryer okra fries
  • Air fryer sliced potatoes

steps to make air fryer cauliflower

How to cook frozen cauliflower in air fryer?

Follow the same recipe as above to cook frozen cauliflower in an air fryer. You will have to cook for additional 2-4 minutes.

How to clean a cauliflower?

It is common to see some green or black worms in cauliflower. That is why it is particularly important to clean cauliflower before cooking. There should be no worms in cauliflower. I always cut the cauliflower into small florets and then submerge them in salty water for some time. This ensures that all worms from cauliflower are out.

How to store air fruer cauliflower?

You can store air fried cauliflower in fridge in an airtight container for 2-3 days. Whenever you want to have it, just reheat in a microwave, or air fry again for 2 minutes.

However, I recommend, not to store in fridge and to consume freshly made cauliflower in air fryer.

Other variations of frying cauliflower in air fryer are to fry the cauliflower as whole or steaks or even to add cheese while air frying.
