Motherโ€™s Day At Barbeque Nation, Bangalore

A mother holds a special place in our life. She sacrifices her life for her children. Her entire world revolves around her kids. She works non-stop, becomes happy when her family is happy and never stops caring. Whatever we are today is because of our mother. On 14th May 2017, Motherโ€™s Day was celebrated across the world. This Motherโ€™s Day, Barbeque Nation took pride in celebrating and appreciating our everyday heroes โ€“ Mothers!  Being a mother I was invited for the event along with my mother and daughter to acknowledge my momโ€™s efforts and to treat her to a delicious buffet spread at Barbeque Nation.

Barbeque Nation hosted a special meal for honouring mothers across the Bangalore city. The leading restaurant chain expressed gratitude towards the efforts, support and love that mothers extend unconditionally for their children.

We were given a warm welcome at the restaurant and were provided with a table of our choice. Soon they served us with mocktails and set the grill after knowing our preference of veg or non-veg food.

There were fun activities going on for honouring mothers. The event had radio jockeys visiting with their moms and interacting with the guests about their experience. Guests participated in fun engagement activities with their moms. A few of the activities included games like MOMpedia, exciting rounds of charades for mother-child pairs to compete and win.

Barbeque nationโ€™s USP are the famous live on table grills which keeps on coming till the flag is turned down.

The menu was specially curated for the day and had interesting mix of starters โ€“ Paneer Pudina Tikka, Shahi Kumbh Malai and Tandoori Saundah Tangdi Murgh, Cajun spiced potatoes, chili garlic prawns, kasundi fish, mutton mughlai fish among others.

There was pav bhaji and chole kulcha at one live counter.

At another live counter, they were serving an Indo-Chinese veg or non-veg dish made according to your preference. I ordered Indo-Chinese chicken made with schezwan sauce. It was delicious. Here you can opt for other types of meat like rabbit or quail. Soup and different types of salad was also on the menu. For main course, the buffet offered dishes like Hyderabadi Kachhe Murgh ki Biryani, Bangalorean Fish Curry and Bademiyaan ke Rolls at a live roll counter.

Rotis, naan and kulchas were served at the table.

For a perfect end to the meal, guests indulged in Obbattu, Jalebis, Gulab Jamun, Mango Cheesecake and a delectable range of Kulfis at the restaurantโ€™s Kulfi Nation counter. We loved this pan shot kulfi.

At the end, the staff dedicated an entertaining performance and a special Motherโ€™s Day cake for us.

Thanks to Barbeque Nation for making us feel special on this special day.
