We always wonder what to do every weekend and how to spend time. Malls and movies have become boring. In Goa, we used to go to beaches, but in Bangalore there are no beaches too. I was invited to Amazing Escape along with my daughter to experience something which we had never done before. I was only told that there is a mystery box and that they want me to come and experience it before they open it to public.
The invitation itself came in a surprising way. There were different types of props in it like torch with ultraviolet light, deck of cards, gloves,a magnifying glass, a puzzle and a blank paper. I had to spend 10 minutes in trying to figure out how to read the invitation. It was fun to read the invitation itself and I felt eager to know more about the venue.
When we reached the venue, we were greeted with a nice smile, some cupcakes and juice. Followed by this we were given an intro and we were told more about the mystery box. The mystery box is a game. We choose to play Casino Heist. We were divided into team of 4 to 6 players and the rules were mentioned to us. The game lasts for 1 hour. You get 3 hints, but you loose time for every hint that you take. For the 1 hour you are locked inside the room and you you are monitored on the security camera.
Casino Heist is a game where we have to act like thieves and enter the casino and break the safe to steal money. There are clues hidden everywhere. It is all team spirit. You have to play together as a team. You have to interact with each other, discuss and find the clues and also you have to figure out what each clue means. The clues are not straight forward.
Currently there are 7 different types of themes. If you want any specific theme you can contact the staff at amazing escape and ask them to get that theme ready while booking it. I liked the game and really enjoyed it. At some point of time I felt like giving up, but the hints helped us. My daughter did not enjoy as this game and was scared after we were locked in the room as this game was not meant for her age group. But bigger kids did enjoy and loved the game.
These games are ideal for corporates who keep regular team building activities. These are great to break the ice between new joiners or new people. You can even celebrate your birthday here and have a nice time.
