Valentine’s Day is approaching soon. You all might be making plans to celebrate this day in the best possible way right? Well, if I say you get unlimited powers in this world, then how will you make this the best day for your Valentine? You will be happy now and might be thinking about buying lots of gifts and roaming around the world and having a grand romantic candlelight dinner, etc., etc.
First let me start by telling you the real meaning of Valentine and Valentine’s Day. According to wiki, Valentine’s Day is a holiday observed on 14th Feb each year in some countries. There are several stories associated with this. A popular story states that Saint Valentine of Rome was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry and for ministering to Christians, who were persecuted under the Roman Empire. (Source: Wiki). In The USA, people present gifts to family members and children apart from their spouse or partner.
So you might be wondering what I will do if I get unlimited powers on this Valentine ’s Day? Well frankly speaking, I will use this power to celebrate my Valentine’s Day in a unique fashion. What would I do? I would make sure that every poor soul in the world would celebrate their Valentine’s Day.
First, I will visit old age homes along with my partner. Nowadays young people send their parents to old age homes. They forget that parents take lots of pain to educate them. These young people celebrate their Valentine’s Day in a luxurious way… But who will make those old people happy? So I and my partner will visit them and give them lots of gifts. If there are old couples there, I will ensure that they celebrate their Valentine’s Day in the way that they want. We will gift roses and cakes to every old person. Apart from that we will give them some unique gifts like clothes and books.
We will also visit the orphanage around and use the unlimited powers to make all their wishes come true. Like some kids love to fly an airplane. We will use this power to make even this wish come true. We will use the powers to buy lots of toys and clothes and give the gifts to the kids.
There might be some young sick people in hospitals. They might be fighting for their life. I and my partner will use the power to find out who are all those people who are praying for their partner’s life and who can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. We will heal those sick dying people and ensure that even these people who left hopes of life, will get up and walk out of the hospital this valentine’s day and celebrate their love.
Apart from this, I will use the power to ensure that all the poor people celebrate their valentine’s day. I will secretly visit them and give them lots of gifts so that they can gift their valentine and make their day.
I will take my partner with me to do all this good deed. After doing all the good deeds, we will get unlimited happiness. The joy of making someone happy just cannot be explained in words. My partner loves to do good deeds. If such a dream of helping people celebrate their valentine’s day comes true, my partner too will be extremely happy. Followed by this, we will return to our home sweet home. Since I have unlimited powers, I will use these to decorate my home in a simple way. Probably I will put some red hearts around and get a nice heart shaped cake. I will use the powers to have a simple dinner with all the dishes that my partner loves in the luxury of my home.
I am sure that my partner will love this way of celebrating Valentine’s Day. He will never forget how we used my powers of making others happy. Even if you do not have the powers, just try to make someone happy and see how much happiness you get. When your house-maid comes home, just give her a box of chocolates and give her a surprise off. See how much happy she gets. Just observe her face bloom with happiness. She too will never forget the day.
So this is what I will do with my unlimited powers to make my Valentine’s Day a truly memorable one. A day which will be remembered as “once in lifetime!”
