Heat a kadai/wok, add all the ingredients one by one. That is add peeled and chopped pumpkin, finely chopped onion spice powders, grated coconut, little salt and water.
Mix well and let it simmer with lid closed.
All water in kadai should get absorbed and the pumpkin should turn soft.If the pumpkin is still hard, add more water ands immer. Remember not to add too much water as pumpkin will turn mushy. I suggest adding water little at a time and cooking with lid covered.
Adjust salt to taste.
