Easy Mango Salsa

This quick and easy mango salsa recipe is the perfect sweet and spicy dip for chips, tacos, grilled chicken, or fish. Made with fresh mango, tomato, and bell pepper.

Ingredients

  • 2 mangoes ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • ½ red bell pepper finely chopped
  • ½ medium red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • To taste Salt

Instructions

Making mango salsa is as easy as chopping and mixing:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, tomato, red bell pepper, and onion.
  • Add in the chopped cilantro or parsley.
  • Drizzle fresh lemon or lime juice over the mixture.
  • Sprinkle salt to taste.
  • Gently toss everything until evenly combined.
  • Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm mangoes – Overripe mangoes may turn mushy when mixed.
  • Chill before serving – Let it sit in the fridge for 30 minutes for the flavors to meld.
  • Customize the heat – Add chili flakes or jalapeños if you like it spicy.
  • Use fresh herbs – Cilantro adds classic salsa flavor, but parsley works too.
