Mava Modak Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk Powder
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Ghee
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Saffron strands
  • Silver varak optional

Instructions

  • Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.
  • Add milk and stir on low flame.
  • Mix in milk powder gradually, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add sugar, saffron strands, and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Stir till mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Cool slightly, then shape into modaks using a modak mould or hands.
  • Decorate with silver varak if desired.
