Food Processors: Why Every Cooking Enthusiast Needs Them

Not everyone of us holds a special talent in the kitchen. But no matter how you argue that cooking isnโ€™t your thing, you donโ€™t have a choiceโ€”itโ€™s a life skill you need to survive. Weโ€™re not sure how they do it, but yes, there are some people living their own life in their own home who really donโ€™t know how to cook.

Food processor usage

Perhaps, they only know how to fry eggs, sausages, and bacon, boil eggs or put rice and fish on the steamer. And thatโ€™s it. They have this menu everyday of their life. Nothing fancy, really. Except of course when they eat out or get takeout dinners. Some have abused the takeout and eating out option though. Itโ€™s basically how they survive.

Cooking isnโ€™t really as daunting as you can imagine. Well, there are some dishes that are indeed made through a complicated process. But if youโ€™ve already memorized the basics and the processes involved, youโ€™ll realize that you can do it with a breeze. You wouldnโ€™t even think of it as a chore. Rather, itโ€™s something you can enjoy. Itโ€™s even an activity that can help you unwind as you take a break from the daily grind. Weekend experiments in the kitchen? Why not!

Yes, this skill isnโ€™t something that comes natural since birth. You have to develop it. So, why conclude that you donโ€™t have any talent in the kitchen? As long as you keep yourself interested and engaged, you hold lots of potential. In time, youโ€™ll realize that youโ€™ve actually summoned the hidden chef in you.

Food processor presentation

And speaking of thinking about cooking as something thatโ€™s not really intimidating, you simply need the right kitchen tools to make the task easier and less time-consuming for you. Now, you might be thinking: You already have a blender, a whole set of knives, whisk, electric mixer, and other cooking and baking tools. So, should you still think about the best food processor out there?

Yes, definitely. Even if you think itโ€™s bulky and itโ€™s taking up much space in the kitchen counter, youโ€™d still thank yourself later for buying one. It will save you lots of time, energy and hassles.

Get Your Homemade Mayo Ready in Three Minutes

Mayonnaise is the life of most sandwiches. But many of us would like to give it a twist, perhaps, create a healthier version of what you can find on grocery stands. Food processors can give you that in just three minutes. After which, you can create different kinds of spreads your kids would love for their sandwiches.

Grind Meat with a Breeze

Ditch that manual meat grinderโ€”thereโ€™s actually an easier way. Unless you wish extra workout for those muscles in your arms, be kind to yourself and choose a good food processor the next time you shop around for kitchen equipment.

Besides the fact that itโ€™s automatic so itโ€™s not tiring, you also get the best out of what you look forward to, thatโ€™s none other than a finely ground meat. Pork, beef, chicken, fishโ€”you name it. Now, itโ€™s easier to cook shanghai rolls, Chinese dumplings, burger patties, meat balls and whatever recipe that calls for a perfectly ground meat. Check out some dumpling recipes on this article.

Chop up Veggies in No Time

A tiring full-day at work is one of the reasons itโ€™s more convenient to eat out or grab takeout dinners. Washing and chopping up veggies can be time-consuming. You simply get lazy when youโ€™re already tired and all you can think about is to throw yourself in that couch as soon as you get home.

With a food processor, you can eliminate the second process of prepping up your veggies. All you have to do is wash it thoroughly and throw everything in the food processor. In just a few minutes, you get everything chopped and ready for cooking.

Make Silkier, Creamier and Consistent Salad Dressings, Dips, Sauces and Soups

What else can a salad-lover wish for other than different kinds of dressings she can switch up one after another the whole week? And speaking of other pureed ingredients, itโ€™s also easy to whip up dips for your sweet potato fries and other snacks, sauces for your roasted and fried dishes, and tummy-warming dinner soups.

Shred Cheese without Getting Your Hands Messy

The next time you bake mac and cheese, lasagna or pizza, your hands wouldnโ€™t be as messy as before when you used to manually shred cheese. Now, you can easily cook that yummy cheese sauce, too. Want to do a homemade pizza today? Take a look at this: https://tasty.co/recipe/pizza-dough

Whip Up Nut Butter Like a Pro

Gone were the days when your countertop used to be in chaos after youโ€™ve chopped nuts. If that alone is already complicated, would you still dare come up with nut butter? Youโ€™d say for sure that youโ€™d rather walk straight to the nearest grocery shop and grab a ready-to-use nut butter for just a few bucks.

But now, you can make it at home. A food processorโ€™s blades are sharper than sharp that even tough things like nuts can be finely chopped in no time. Yup, you can whip up nut butter like a pro and even start a business with a brilliant recipe you can make.

You can do all of those and more with just one kitchen tool! Whatโ€™s more you can save more time and energy. You can also avoid too much mess on your countertop. It will surely encourage you to eat more home-cooked meals which is much healthier and economical in the long run.
