For the coating:

  1. Wash and peel the potato with a vegetable peeler.
  2. Slice the potatoes into thick slices (around 1/8th inch thickness).
  3. Soak the slices in water for 20 minutes for the starch to get away.
  4. After 20 minutes, drain the water and apply 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric power and 1/4 teaspoon salt to marinate the slices of potato.
  5. Mix the ingredients meant for coating and keep it aside.
  6. Heat a frying pan and spread 2 tablespoon oil or as needed.
  7. Coat the marinated potato in rava and spread them on the frying pan.
  8. Spread 2 tablespoon oil on top of these and shallow fry for 10 minutes on both sides.
