Make the dough ready:
  1. First make the dough ready by mixing the whole wheat flour with water, oil and salt. Remember that while adding water, add little at a time and keep on mixing with your fingers till dough of semi-soft consistency is reached.
  2. Cover and keep the dough aside for 30 minutes. When the dough is resting, make the stuffing ready.
Make the stuffing ready:
  1. Take a mixing bowl and add grated paneer, finely chopped onion, red chili powder, chat masala and salt. Mix well.
Let us start making the parathas:
  1. Make small balls from the dough of equal size. The size should be a little bigger than the table tennis ball.
  2. Roll the dough ball into a little bit of dry wheat flour and roll it into small thick flat round shape.
  3. Place 2 tablespoon of the stuffing on it and close from all sides making a ball.
  4. Dust it in dry whole wheat flour and roll it into bigger round shapes, just like a chapati.
  5. If you see any air bubbles while rolling, simply pat it gently with your fingertips.
  6. Apply 1 teaspoon ghee on the frying pan and place the paratha on it.
  7. After 5 minutes, apply 1 teaspoon ghee on the upper side and turn. Fry for 5 minutes.
  8. The paratha is done. Serve it with curds or any dish.
Recipe Notes

You can add finely chopped coriander leaves and finely chopped green chillies to the stuffing.
